The AHS Wildcats needed six innings to take care of business Tuesday afternoon as they defeated visiting Archer High School 14-4.
Eric Morgan recorded a grand slam, his first career home run, and finished with six RBI to help the Wildcats improved to 4-5 overall.
Chance Rodriguez worked four innings and allowed two earned runs while scattering seven hits with two strikeouts and no walks.
Tony Salvaggio finished with three hits and drove in two runs while Austin Miller had a hit and scored three runs with three RBI.
Apalachee was scheduled to play North Oconee Wednesday (today) at 5:55 p.m. in a makeup game from Monday.
