Five sentenced to jail time

Five people were sentenced recently in Madison County Superior Court to jail time on various charges.

There were:

•James Ricky Standridge, 57, 1465 Hwy. 29, lot 6 Pine Woods Estate, Athens, was sentenced to two days confinement for loitering or prowling.

•Stephen Eugene Manley, 51, 500 Granite Ridge Place, Atlanta, was sentenced to two days confinement for loitering or prowling.

•Christine Daniel, 52, 605 Rodgers Mill Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to two days confinement for obstruction of officers.

•Vincent Scott Colquitt, 33, 35 Brad Graham Road, Comer, was sentenced to one year confinement for marijuana — less than an ounce.

•James Luther Weaver, 26, no address available, Comer, was sentenced to 60 days confinement for criminal trespass.
