Armed robbery reported at Braselton business

An employee at a Hwy. 124 hotel in Braselton said he was assisting a guest in a room when he returned to the office and found a man behind the counter prying on the drawer.

The employee told an officer with the Braselton Police Department that the man took a bag containing around $300.

In another incident, a man reported that two out buildings behind a Hwy. 211 hotel were broken into. Equipment was taken from one of the buildings. The other building contained paperwork and nothing appeared to have been taken.
