AHS basketball to host benefit golf tourney

The Apalachee High School boys basketball team will host a golf tournament at The Georgia Club in Statham on Wednesday, March 27.

Registration will be at noon with the tournament starting at 1 p.m. The format is 3-person lauderdale/scramble teams. The price is $110 per person or $330 for a team. Hole sponsorships are available for $100.

The first place team will receive $600 with the $300 for second and $150 for third. There will be two flights if 30 or more teams are entered. Prizes will also be awarded for closest-to-the-pin and top two longest drives.
