Winder city clerk Gloria Andrews resigned from her post this week. The Winder City Council was scheduled to appoint administrative specialist Rebecca Bowen as interim clerk Tuesday night. City administrator Don Toms said that after Bowen successfully serves in the post for 90 days, the appointment could become permanent. She has worked for the city government for a few years. Bowen worked initially in Winder Municipal Court, then worked in finance, human resources and the city clerk’s office.
