The Braselton Antique & Holiday will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 9-6 p.m. and Sunday, October 27, from10-5 p.m.
This is a semi- annual event that takes place the fourth weekend of every April and October. This, year will be the 10th semi annual anniversary and it's anticipated that over 10,000 festival goers will attend.
"The festival committee works so hard every year to make this event successful," said festival coordinator and Countryside Antiques owner Donna Cannella. "This time, we have dealers coming all the way from Ohio."
For the first time ever, the festival will have a fresh produce vendor offering a variety of vegetables, tomatoes and apples.
Prior to each festival, the committee begins attending other events in search of antique dealers and booths containing unique and re-purposed items. They also send applications to dealers who have previously participated in the festival and many dealers join based on word of mouth.
This year booths will be set up inside Braselton Park, and along Harrison and Frances streets. Downtown Braselton will be filled with booths featuring antiques, primitives, architectural pieces, local artwork, outdoor gardening, ironworks, statuaries, advertising, pottery, woodworking, folk art, jewelry, glassware, textiles, rustics, up-cycle, salvage, turn-of-the-century furniture, great food and much more. They will also be featuring live music from the David Boyd Band out of Gainesville. There will also be locally made jams, jellies and bread. Festival directories and Tshirts will be available at the Town of Braselton booth.
Parking and admission for the festival are free.
