Investigators from the Hall County Sheriff's Office have arrested two adults and three juveniles in connection with a string of burglaries, entering automobiles and graffiti in downtown Lula.
Chad Hoffman, 17, Gainesville, was charged with multiple counts of burglary, entering an automobile and criminal trespass.
Casey Nix, 18, Lula, was charged in connection with the burglary at New Image Hair Salon and the entering an auto at Lanier Auto’s.
Also arrested in connection with the crimes were two male juveniles, age 14 and 16, and a 16 year old female.
Between Thursday, August 28, and Saturday, August 30, the group broke into the following locations: Lula Masonic Lodge, New Image Hair Salon, Steph & Co Hair Salon, Lula Assembly of Praise, a private residence on Cobb Street. They also allegedly broke into the Lula Pharmacy in April.
Also in August, they allegedly broke into a vehicle at Lanier Auto’s on Athens Street and another vehicle on Main Street.
The group is also charged with spaypainting graffiti on property at Lula Elementary School, Davidson Restorations and a private residence on Main Street.
Investigators recovered a gun, a laptop computer and a car stereo stolen during the burglaries and entering autos.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigation Division.
