The Braselton Police Department recently arrested Michael Lane Bare after attempting to pull him over for speeding.
After police attempted to pull him over, Bare allegedly began driving the speed limit but ignored the patrol vehicle. After 10-minutes, Bare reportedly began driving more erratically at 70-miles-per-hour.
After pulling over, Bare reportedly took off on foot, and police observed him carrying a large hunting knife. Upon being detained, police discovered a glass pipe, methamphetamine and a bottle of Xanax.
Bare was arrested for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while driver’s license is suspended or revoked, speeding in excess of maximum limits, safety restraint violation, wanted person apprehended, purchase, possession or have under control any controlled substance (amphetamine), purchase, possession or have under control any controlled substance, obstruction/hindering of a police officer (misdemeanor) and possession/use of a drug-related object.
