The Apalachee High School boys basketball team will be in the upcoming state tournament. The only question now is what seed the Wildcats will be.
AHS defeated Loganville High School 70-57 in the 8-AAAAA quarterfinals Monday, defeating the Red Devils on their home court. Kamar Baldwin, who now has 1,000 points for his career, finished with a team-high 22 points Monday night.
Kent Knowles and Alantae Billings both scored 12 points while Joey German added 10.
AHS will now face Salem in the semifinals Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at LHS. The Seminoles upset No. 2 seed Heritage Monday.
The win against LHS improved the Wildcats to 22-4.
