The problems with underage drinking will be the focus of a program planned by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m., the department will host a program called “Choices” at the Jackson E.M.C. auditorium that will highlight the problem the county has had with underage drinkers. Two female prisoners from Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto will talk about the choices they made that landed them in prison. It is open to the public.
