A Hoschton man was arrested on Monday by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for his involvement in a home invasion.
Joshua Adonis Finch, 35, Georgia, was charged in correction with a home invasion which occurred in the early morning hours of January 23 at a residence off Bill Watkins Road in western Jackson.
The victims reported that two black males entered the home armed with guns and demanded money. The reportedly suspects struck and assaulted the male victim with the guns. The suspects then ordered the female victims to remove all their clothing.
Money was obtained from the residence and the suspects left with cash, cell phones and one of the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was later located a short distance from the victim’s residence.
“The sheriff’s office investigators were able to determine that Finch is familiar with the victim and drugs had played a role in the crime,” Sheriff Janis Mangum said.
Finch is incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail and has been charged with burglary, party to the crime of armed robbery and three counts of party to the crime of false imprisonment. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
