Patrick Overstreet hit two home runs, Ben Brissey went deep once and Jackson County (2-1) pounded out 15 hits in a 12-7 road win over Johnson-Gainesville Wednesday.
Johnson had just one run and one hit through six innings before scoring six runs in the bottom of the seventh with a pair of homers and two steals.
At the plate, Overstreet went 2-for-2 with three RBIs. He also walked twice, stole a base and scored three runs. Brissey was 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.
Other leading hitters were Jacob Banks (2-for-3, run, HBP, two RBIs), Nick Corso (2-for-4, stolen base, three runs, RBI, HBP) and Cal Tolbert (2-for-4, stolen base).
Chris Griggs (1-0) picked up the win, throwing four no-hit innings with four strikeouts.
Jackson County returns to action Friday at Oglethorpe County at 4:30 p.m.
