The Jefferson boys' track team won three events in a third-place finish Saturday at the Golden Corner Invitational in Seneca, S.C.
Satchel Turpin went 44-10 to place first in the triple jump, Mason Hamrick vaulted 14 feet to win the pole vault and the boys 4 x 400 meter relay team of T.J. Skelton, Tyler McCrary, Jacob Adams and Tradd Porter set a season-best time of 3:33.71, placing first.
Jefferson finished with 73 points. Seneca won the boys' meet with 112 points. Wade Hampton was second with 77 points.
In the girls' meet, Abby Carson won the pole vault with a vault of 8-6 as the Lady Dragons finished sixth overall.
