The Winder-Barrow High School and Apalachee High School golf teams teed things up again last week in a county and region matchup with the outcomes being the same as the first meeting.
The WBHS Lady Bulldoggs defeated the AHS Lady Wildcats 155-201. Savannah Rainbolt finished with a low score of 48.
Meghan Bramblett finished at 52 followed by teammates Courtney Grovogel (55) and Britt Pentecost (58). Taylor Compton was the low medalist for the Lady Wildcats.
The AHS boys took a 188-202 win as Matt Cheek, Josh Mallet, Ryan Hellums, Chris Cook and Drew Massey earned their second victory against WBHS this spring.
Parker Elrod led WBHS with a round of 45 followed by Chandler Wells and Tanner Bottorff. Will Sorrells also finished with a strong round of 54.
The WBHS boys did manage a 204-237 win against Clarke Central the following day. Sorrells and Bottorff both finished at 49 followed by Parker Smith at 51. Caleb Murphy and Wells both finished at 55.
The WBHS Lady Bulldoggs notched another region win by defeating Clarke Central 147-181. Rainbolt was low medalist at 40 followed by Grovogel at 51 and Pentecost at 56.
