The region champion boys' and girls' Jefferson soccer teams both ran the table in 8-AA competition, securing unbeaten seasons in region play with victories over Rabun County Friday.
The Dragons won their game 3-1 while the Jefferson girls routed Rabun County 10-0.
In the boys' game, Richard Mendoza scored on a penalty kick in the first half, Dakota Thompson notched the second goal and Mason Porras capped the scoring with a goal off a header on a corner kick.
As for the girls' lopsided win, coach Todd Parker was complimentary of his team's passing and "through" balls.
"Tonight (Friday), they played unselfish," Parker said.
The first round of the boys' state playoffs begin May 1. The girls' state tournament starts May 2.
