GAINESVILLE - Mark B. Ruis, 51, passed away to Heaven Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, following an extended illness.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Ruis, Gainesville; three sons, Benjamin, Jesse, and Nathan; daughter, Carrie; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Carrie Anne Ruis, Atlanta; grandmother, Katie Ruth Ruis, Valdosta; grandfather, Homer Lee Spells, Moultrie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Sharon Stubbs; and brothers-in-law and spouses, Warren and Alyson Stubbs and Stephen and Tina Stubbs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 25, at Blackshear Place Baptist Church. The Rev. Jeff Crook will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
