For the second day in a row, schools in Jackson County have been disrupted by bomb threats.
Jefferson Middle School was evacuated early Thursday morning following a threat. A note was reportedly found on the bathroom wall saying a bomb would go off Thursday. Students were evacuated to the nearby Jefferson Academy building. Bomb dogs and personnel were brought in from UGA and Hall County. No bomb was found.
East Jackson Comprehensive High School also reportedly received a threat around 11 a.m. Thursday. The school had also been evacuated Wednesday following a similar threat.
