For the second day in a row, schools in Jackson County have been disrupted by bomb threats.
Jefferson Middle School and Maysville Elementary School were evacuated Thursday following bomb threats.
At JMS, a note was reportedly found on the bathroom wall saying a bomb would go off Thursday. Students were evacuated to the nearby Jefferson Academy building. Bomb dogs and personnel were brought in from UGA and Hall County. No bomb was found and students and teachers returned to class.
About 2:30 Thursday afternoon, students and teachers were evacuated from MES due to a bomb threat.
EJCHS received a bomb threat Wednesday.
