•The Games: BCA hosts Fullington Academy, quarterfinals, GISA Class A state playoffs
•Records: BCA, 16-6 overall (8-0 in region), No. 1 seed from Region 1-A; Fullington Academy, 13-4 overall (6-2 in region), No. 2 seed from Region 3-A
•Format: Best-of-three series begins with doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m., third game Monday
•Coaches: BCA: Colby May; Fullington: Jason Hurst
•Key Players: BCA: P.J. Klein, Jacob Fincher, Luke Allen, Tanner Still, Jacob Walls, Brady Stewart, Ryan Whiting, Jacob Parker, Brad Toxen; Fullington: Will Mashburn, Cal Willard
•Notes: BCA defeated Twiggs Academy in two games in the opening round while Fullington had a bye. The Trojans had a bye, despite being a No. 2 seed, due to there not being enough teams to fill out the 16-team Class A bracket. Knights coach Colby May said he was glad his team played rather than having a first round pass. While Fullington will likely provide a tougher test for BCA than Twiggs Academy did, the host Knights simply have too much pitching depth and too much offensive firepower not to advance. Fullington is the No. 2 seed from Region 3-A. Its two region losses this spring were to Crisp Academy, who is playing Citizens Christian in a quarterfinal matchup. The BCA-Fullington matchup could be one of the more competitive quarterfinal series. BCA has not lost to a Class A opponent this spring. Some of the Knights more impressive wins outside of their region and classification, came against Class AAA Loganville Christian Academy and Class AA Piedmont Academy, both of whom won their respective region and are still in their respective playoffs.
•Other GISA Class A quarterfinal series: Robert Toombs hosts Georgia Christian; David Emanuel hosts Grace Christian, Crisp Academy hosts Citizens Christian
•At stake: Winner of series advances to state semifinals
•Prediction: BCA wins series in two games.
