Advance voting will be held June 30 through July 18 for the run-off election.
The run-off election will be held Tuesday, July 22.
Hours for early voting will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. There will be no Saturday voting, Barrow County elections supervisor Monica Franklin said. Mail ballots can also be sent out to those who request them.
Two Barrow County Board of Education seats will be determined in the run-off.
Incumbent Will Dunn will face challenger Michael Shelley in the GOP primary run-off.
BOE District 1 incumbent Randall Holland will face challenger Debi Krause. The District 1 winner also faces opposition in November’s general election. Democrat Betty
Other races on the Republican run-off ballot will be:
•10th Congressional District, Mike Collins and Jody Hice.
•United States Senate, Jack Kingston and David Perdue.
•Georgia State School Superintendent, Mike Buck and Richard Woods.
Races on the Democratic ballot include:
•Georgia State School Superintendent, Alisha Morgan and Valarie Wilson.
Those who voted in the Republican primary May 20 have to choose a GOP ballot in the run-off. The same goes for those who voted in the Democratic primary.
For voters who did not go to the polls for the May 20 primary, they may cast a ballot in either party’s run-off.
