The City of Auburn will host its annual July 4 celebration this Friday, beginning at 5 p.m.
Festivities will include a concert, rides, crafts and specialty vendors. The event will culminate with a fireworks display.
Other activities will include a hot dog eating contest, chainsaw demonstrations and a “live” zombie shooting game. Military equipment and trucks and a drag racing car will be on display. Ashley Rivera will provide musical entertainment.
Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. The event is free.
While the City of Winder does not have any events for July 4, it will host the second part of the Downtown Music Series on Friday, July 11. A third concert series is set for August.
