The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 40-year-old Nicholson man Monday on drug charges.
According to a news release, after “receiving information of possible drug activity” at the residence of Walter Howard Leachman Jr., Jim’s Lane, Nicholson, investigators got a search warrant and raided the residence.
Deputies allegedly found “a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana and tools commonly used for the consumption and sale of those types of drugs.”
Leachman was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
Leachman remains in the Jackson County Jail.
