ALTO - Judy Dotson Moore, 61, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
She was born July 7, 1953 in Clayton, the daughter of the late Earl W. Dotson and Melba Vinson Dotson. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in law, Joyce and Tom Dotson and Linda “Butchie” and Bill Crunkleton. She lived in Alto for 15 years, was employed as an administrative secretary at Lee Arrendale State Prison, and was a member of Lakemont Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, caregiver and friend.
Survivors include her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 39 years, James Carroll Moore, Alto; one son, Colby Moore and his wife, Carrie, Banks County; one daughter, Chelsey Moore, Banks County; one brother, Jimmy Angel, Asheville, N.C.; and one sister, Kathy Dotson Seabolt and husband, Kerry, Habersham County; two grandchildren, Jacob Bolling and Jonathan Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Lakemont Baptist Church with Chaplain Cynseria Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Wiley Cemetery.
