The Braselton Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. on an application for a proposed warehouse-distribution center on Lewis Braselton Boulevard and Green Street, a mile from Interstate 85 in Braselton. The hearing will be held at the Braselton Police and Municipal Building, 5040 S.R. 53, Braselton.
Specifically, the applicant, Ridgeline Property Group, is asking for a stream buffer and setback variance on a 114.86 acre piece of property owned by A&B Real Estate Partners, LP (Jackson County Tax Parcel 112001). The property is approximately 114.86 acres and zoned M-D (Manufacturing-Distribution).
Plans for the property include a 1 million square foot building that will have frontage along I-85 and trailer storage potential.
The current code requires the property to have a 50-foot undisturbed buffer and a 75-foot impervious surface setback on each side of all streams as measured from the top of bank outward.
