A house fire on Mari Court in South Jackson is being investigated by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
The home-owner stated that she had set off “three bug bombs” and left the residence.
A witness said he saw her leaving the home with a large column of smoke coming from the home. The woman allegedly said she didn’t have a phone to call 911.
When the deputy was talking with her, he noticed that she had a cell phone with her.
