Hoschton OKs business permits

Hoschton issued three business permits in May, according to a city administrative report.

Business permits were issued to: Vicious Indoor Paintball, LLC (indoor paintball), 91 Pearl Industrial, Ste. A; Fuller Neuromuscular Therapy (neuromuscular massage), 149 Towne Center Parkway; and Jones and Jones Investments, LLC (clerical/land development), 4188 Ga. Hwy. 53, Ste. 101.

The city didn’t issue permits for new residences in May, but approved licenses for other construction work. A permit was issued at a Magnolia Circle address to finish a house and another permit was issued at a Buck Trail address to finish half of a basement.

In May, the city paid bills totaling $49,309 from its general fund, $61,000 for the wastewater treatment plant expansion project, and $60,423 from the water/sewer fund.
