Town approves two permits for new buildings

The Braselton Planning and Development Department approved two building permits for new residences in May, according to a town report.

One permit was issued in Hall County, while the other was issued in Jackson County.

In April, the town didn’t issue any building permits for new residences.

In May, the town approved permanent sign permits for Aunt Bee’s Place and Covenant Faith.

The following items are listed by town officials as pending development permit applications, preliminary plats or site development plans: Chardonnay Trace Hospitality, hotel and restaurant on Chardonnay Trace Drive, located off Ga. Hwy. 53; Braselton Distribution Center, lot 2; and The Oaks at Braselton, senior living facility.
