Braselton and Hoschton will close their city halls in observation of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 7.
Hoschton will also close its city hall on Friday, Sept. 11, as part of the town’s weekly furlough schedule. City hall is closed every Friday for a furlough day until further notice.
Also, the Hoschton City Council has moved its September work session and regular meeting for the Labor Day holiday.
The Hoschton City Council will hold its work session on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m., and the regular meeting on Monday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m.
No meetings in Braselton will change because of the holiday.
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday, Sept. 14, instead of on the first Monday of the month. The BOC also has a meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21. Both meetings will be at the courthouse.
