The majority of a 781-acre tract in Colbert that houses a clay-shooting club will again be taxed at a lower rate. Property owner Coleman Whitehead agreed to terms to extract 75 acres to be taxed at the regular rate for the clay-shooting operation. A Colbert man was arrested last week after a domestic dispute at residences on Cleghorne Road and Clark Circle. Jason Wade Sargent 30, 267 Cleghorne Road, Colbert, was charged with reckless driving and aggravated assault. City seeks cheap way to add to reservoir capacity
