Sea Dragons compete at GPRA District meet

The GRPA District 7 swim meet brought out a crowd of supporters and a lot of young swimmers. The Sea Dragons traveled to Habersham to compete in the district swim meet Saturday. Barrow County man arrested for murder

A Barrow County man was arrested in Panama City last week for the rape and murder of a 13-year-old girl. Matthew Caylor, a registered sex offender from Auburn, admitted killing Melinda Hinson in his hotel room. According to the probable cause affidavit, Caylor raped Hinson Tuesday evening. Burglars took cash, checks and jewelry from an Owens Circle, Bethlehem, resident earlier this month, according to an incident report filed at the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.
