The Banks County High School Leopards and the North Oconee Titans went toe-to-toe in an old-fashioned defensive battle Friday night. Ed Russ was selected as the Chick-fil-A player of the week for last Friday’s 42-0 win over Duluth. Russ had five rushes for 25 yards and was 8 of 9 passing for 173 yards with one touchdown. The Mill Creek volleyball team finished the first day of Gwinnett County tournament play 3-0 with wins over Berkmar, Greater Atlanta Christian School and Shiloh.
