Students make choice for new middle school name

More than 70 percent of students who in August will attend the new middle school in Statham want it to be named Bear Creek Middle School. Superintendent Wanda Creel will recommend that name to the school board, which will vote on the matter at Tuesday’s meeting. For the full story, see the Feb. 27th issue of the Barrow Journal.
