Most people know that the Madison County Senior Center provides activities and meals to county residents age 60 and over, but the senior center also serves as an information touchstone that provides a link to a myriad of services for seniors and their families. Hull man faces battery charge after incident with girlfriend

James Daniel Strickland, 25, 127 Oak Drive, Hull, was charged with battery FVA last week after he allegedly grabbed his live-in girlfriend’s arm during an argument at their residence. Woman charged with stealing from MC Little League

A former treasurer with the Madison County Little League was arrested Tuesday, Jan. 29, on theft charges following an investigation that began last fall into missing funds from the non-profit organization during 2012. A two-vehicle collision on Hwy. 72 near Colbert at approximately 7 p.m. Feb. 4 resulted in four people being transported to Athens Regional Medical Center by Madison County EMS.
