My daughter loves her little, red wagon. It’s one of those vintage wagons made with metal — not plastic — and no additional frills. My grandfather restored that wagon — now almost 60 years old — especially for Katie, now 20 months old. Satellite voter sites in place in Jackson County

The Jackson County Voter Registration Office has announced two new voting satellite sites are in place. One is located at 204 Carson Street, Commerce (Recreation Department) and the other at 5040 Highway 53, Braselton (Municipal and Police Building). The Braselton Town Council approved its 2009 fiscal year budget on Tuesday, during a brief called meeting. Braselton’s general fund budget is slated to rise six percent — from $2.6 million in 2008 to $2.7 million for the 2009 fiscal year, which begins on July 1 and ends on June 30, 2009. Hall County offering tips on spotting rabies cases

The Hall County Board of Commissioners and animal control department are providing tips on how people can identify potential rabies cases among animals. Hoschton pool attracts unwanted swimmers
