Homer’s proposed budget down 20 percent

The proposed budget for 2009-2010 for the Town of Homer is down 20 percent over the current budget. At a meeting on Tuesday, June 16, the council reviewed the proposed budget. Homer residents will begin paying more for their water as of July 1. The Homer City Council unanimously approved an increase in water rates at the monthly council meeting on Tuesday, June 9.
