A man was run over by a train around 9:30 p.m. Monday night in Alto in the area of Garland White Road near Lee Arrendale State Prison. Superior Court judge David Motes is home after undergoing surgery Thursday at an Athens hospital, while judge Joe Booth remains in the intensive care unit at the hospital.
