A Winder man became the fifth fatality at Lake Lanier this season as he drowned while attempting to swim to shore Sunday evening. The Barrow County Board of Commissioners may soon meet once, instead of twice, each month. This Tuesday, Chairman Doug Garrison will ask the board to amend the current meeting schedule.
