Dragons Playoff Tickets Now On Sale

Tickets for Friday night's round one playoff game in Jefferson against the Coosa Eagles are being pre-sold, according to JHS officials. The reason, the school says, is that some passes may not be honored in the post season. Officials want everyone to have the opportunity to take in Friday night's game. Dacula's Russell Fleeman showed that in racing, nothing is certain. Just 50 laps into Sunday's World Crown at Peach State Speedway, a flat tire sent the 2008 Georgia Asphalt Series champ to the pits, and relegated him a lap down. Panthers Lose To Indians 35-0

The Jackson County Panthers 2008 season came to a close Friday night with a loss to Stephens County 35-0. The Indians had entered the game highly favored, with an 8-2 overall record, and 6-1 in the region. The Panthers end their season 0-7 in the region, with a 1-8-1 overall record.

Eagles Fall To Dragons In Season Closer

As the rain continued to fall in Nicholson, the Eagle hopefull continued to hope for a miracle. What they got was more rain, more miserable conditions, and a 48-0 loss. It was a wet, wild night for the Dragons in East Jackson, as they beat the Eagles 48-0. The outcome was not completely unexpected, as the Dragons looked to protect their undefeated record going into the post season. The Apalachee High School football team is once again preparing for the state playoffs following Week 10 of the regular season.
