Colt Green has been named as the new recreation director for the City of Jefferson. City manager John Ward announced Monday that Green had been named as recreation director after a month-long process. The Lady Hawks picked up two area wins Tuesday night with victories over Meadowcreek and Peachtree Ridge. Mill Creek took both matches in two games, beating Meadowcreek 25-7 and 25-9 and topping the Lady Lions by scores of 25-12 and 25-12.
