JEFFERSON dominated every phase of the game Friday night in a methodical 31-0 trouncing of no. 6 Washington-Wilkes in a high-stakes Region 8-AA matchup.
The Dragons (4-1, 2-0) limited the Washington Wilkes offense — averaging over 40 points a game — to just 138 total yards and five first downs. Meanwhile, Jefferson's offense racked up 437 yards and 21 first downs as the Dragons rolled to perhaps the biggest win in the T. McFerrin era.
