Deputies investigating Auburn home invasion

Barrow Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports of a home invasion Monday morning on Wexford Way in Auburn.
A teenager inside the residence at the time said two males forcefully entered the home through a downstairs door while she was upstairs. She secured herself in a bedroom along with two juveniles who were also in the house.
No one was hurt during the incident, but several items were taken from the home. Sheriff’s investigators processed the scene for evidence and are currently investigating leads. At this time it appears the incident is isolated and does not warrant additional concern for area homeowners, deputies said.
