The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office charged 29 people last week, including the following:

•Johnny Ray Palmer, 31, 212 Cooper Bridge Road, Braselton, failure to appear.



•Shane Allen Powell, 20, 719 Brumbalow Road, Pendergrass, simple assault and disorderly conduct.

•Audrey Anita Shelnut, 30, 540 Holman Autry Road, Danielsville, probation violation.

•Douglas Wilson Tench, 30, 2047 Stinchcomb Road, Dewy Rose, probation violation.

•Joseph Vinson Cleveland, 31, 2022 Mountain View Road, Gainesville, child support arrest orders.

•Margaret Elaine Cooper, 37, 449 Forest Lake Road, Pendergrass, simple battery.

•Byron Antwon Lester, 31, 187 West Chester Circle, Athens, probation violation.

•Steven Jason Picard, 33, 29 Leigh Street, Commerce, probation violation.

•Justin Alexander Robinson, 18, 248 Quail Ridge Drive, Nicholson, probation violation.

•Devin Patrick Franklin, 27, 315 Golden Nugget Way, Maysville, reckless driving and fleeing or attempting to elude.

•Randall Darrell Ladd, 34, 2165 Wildwood Court, Gainesville, probation violation.

•Wayne Larry McCannon, 28, 5455 Holly Springs Road, Pendergrass, probation violation.

•Steven Robert Murray, 48, 5349 Brockton Road, Jefferson, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

•Joshua Reed Parham, 28, 3832 Tallassee Road, Athens, bond revoked, two charges of aggravated assault and influencing witnesses.

•Russell Brian Darling, 25, 6271 Maysville Road, Maysville, giving false name and date of birth and control access restrictions.

•Nick Andrew Scoggins, 34, 511 Fuller Road, Athens, abandonment of a minor child.

•Seth Andrew MacKinnon, 19, 2552 Pilgrim Way, Atlanta, probation violation.

•Ronald Joe Mathis, 24, 647 Chicken Lyle Road, Winder, probation violation.

•Kenyon Tyrone Rollins, 41, 314 Jefferson Boulevard, Jefferson, probation violations.

•Teven Deandre Dudley, 21, 10905 McDaniel Mill Road, Conyers, first-degree forgery.

•Jose Luis Chavez-Hernandez, 24, Value Place Motel Room 125, Greenville, SC, failure to maintain a lane, violation of the open container law, driving without a license, removing or affixing a license plate with intent to conceal and driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.

•Curtis Don Powers, 58, 1328 West St., Lansing, Mich., violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act (VGCSA), possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

•Randall Alvin Bennett, 49, 197 Summit Heights Drive, Nicholson, driving while license suspended.
