Actions filed in Madison County Superior Court

Actions filed recently in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Madison County include:

•Donna M. Childs, 63, 341 Cook Street, Elberton, was sentenced to three months probation and was fined $185 for drugs not in original container. A charge of possession of a schedule II controlled substance was dismissed.

•Benjamin Kris Skipper, 38, 516 East County Line Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation and was fined $387 for theft by taking.

•James Telive Samples, 32, 563 West Minish Lake Road, Commerce, was sentenced to one year probation and 40 hours community service for DUI drugs. He was also fined $1,026. Charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving while license suspended or revoked, no proof of insurance, safety belt violations and passing on the shoulder of the road were dismissed. He was also sentenced to one year probation for criminal trespass and was sentenced to $135.

•Betty Jo Johnson, 46, 241 Grady Drive Lot 2, Hull, was sentenced to three months probation for simple battery — family violence.

•Dorothy Elaine Nunns, 49, 177 Leachman Road, Commerce, was sentenced to three months probation and 40 hours of community service for simple battery on a peace officer. Charges of criminal trespass and failure to appear were dismissed.

•Agnes Olivia Holder, 50, 182 Coleridge Court, Athens, was sentenced to three months probation and fined $240 for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Charges of possession of cocaine and crossing the guard line with contraband were dismissed.

•Henry Gregg Thomas Jr., 26, 1780 Neese Commerce Road, Commerce, was sentenced to four years for two counts of obstruction of officers and was fined $1,400. Charges of obstruction of officers and criminal trespass were dismissed.

•Kenneth Carruth, 46, P.O. Box 212, Colbert, was sentenced to five years probation for failure to register as a sex offender.

•Charles Andrew Parr, 30, 1620 G.R. Hayes Road, Elberton, was sentenced to two years confinement and six years probation for theft by taking and was fined $387.

•Melissa Dye Rucker, 46, 185 Mercer Lane, Athens, was sentenced to three months probation and 40 hours community service for drugs not in original container (reduced from possession of a schedule III controlled substance). She was also sentenced to three months probation for failure to maintain lane. Charges of DUI — alcohol and DUI — drugs were dismissed.

•David Shane Embrick, 29, 1326 Macedonia Church Road, Danielsville, was sentenced to one year probation, 40 hours community service and was fined $1,050 for DUI. Charges of possession of methamphetamine, DUI and failure to maintain lane.

•Christopher Conrad Stuff, 24, 1081 Lem Edwards Road, Winterville, was sentenced to one year probation for two counts of theft by taking and criminal trespass.

•Virginia Gail Williams, 51, 120 Reese Lane, Hull, was sentenced to three months probation and was fined $135 for loitering or prowling.

•Jonathan Lynnwood Moore, 35, 1081 Lem Edwards Road, Winterville, was sentenced to one year probation for criminal trespass and two counts of theft by taking.

•Jennings T. Limehouse, 47, 188 Moriah Church Road, Colbert, was sentenced to three months probation and 40 hours community service for loitering or prowling.

•Connie Diane Duncan, 34, 1464 Duffell Martin Road, Comer, was sentenced to three months probation and was fined $135 for disorderly conduct.
•Terrio Tavarus Pass, 31, 236 Fourth Street, Athens, was sentenced to three months probation for obstruction of officers. Charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and tampering evidence were dismissed.

•Thomas Mitchell Horne, 36, 898 Neese Commerce Road, Commerce, was sentenced to three months probation and fined $140 for failure to maintain lane. A charge of DUI alcohol was dismissed.

•Tracy Renee Dyer, 41, P.O. Box 15, Maysville, was sentenced to five years confinement for entering auto and two counts of forgery in the first degree. Two counts of financial transaction card fraud and failure to appear were dismissed.
