THE JEFFERSON competitive cheerleading team capped off a 6-0 region title season with a third-place finish at state Saturday in Columbus.
Jefferson, who won the Region 8-AA title Nov. 3 at Loganville, finished behind Coosa and Calhoun in the Class AA meet.
“We do not have any seniors on the team, so we are looking forward to many successful seasons,” Jefferson coach Christy Potts said.
Team members include Charley Beatty, Randi Brooks, Savannah Dale, Magan Greer, McKenzie Gudgalis, Megan Gudgalis, Logan Johnston, Cassidy Jones, Craigan Mitchell, Sarah Beth Orr, Taylor Parker, Kate Quinn, Abby Roberts, Grayson Roberts, MaKenzie Thomas and Anna Young. Coaches are Potts, Brooke Vaughn and Chase Watson.
