FLOWERY BRANCH - Tiffany Haley Williams, 29, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta following a nine-year battle with cancer.
She was born in Greenville, Ky. on February 26, 1983, the daughter of Tommy and Peggy Haley of Gainesville. She graduated from Johnson High School in Oakwood. During her short adult life, she championed the Relays for Life, and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night causes, and garnered accolades from friends and loved ones who considered her their hero in the fight against cancer. Tiffany was preceded in death by grandfathers, Doug Garrett and George Haley; and grandmother, Jenny Pursley.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Bryan Martin Williams, Flowery Branch; a son, Austin Troy Williams, Jefferson; mother-in-law, Charlotte (Chris) Beaty, Flowery Branch; father-in-law, J. Stephen Williams, Lilburn; grandmother, Sue Garrett; uncle and aunt, Steve and Belinda Staples; cousins, Stuart Staples, Phyllis Harris and family, all of Drakesboro, Ky., Lisa Rogers and family, Lewisburg, Ky., and Deborah Daughtery and family, Central City, Ky.
The funeral services were held Sunday, November 18, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Stewart officiating. Burial was in the Evans Memory Gardens with Josh Williams, James Williams, Stuart Staples, Steve Staples, Brian Phillips, and Wayne Smith honored as pallbearers.
