Rita Helton (12-8-12)

BETHLEHEM - Rita Kennedy Helton, 62, died Saturday, December 8, 2012.

Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Annie Manders Kennedy. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and had served as an office assistant at Barrow Dental Associates.

Survivors include her husband, Terry L. Helton; son, Chad Helton; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Steve Brown; grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla and Connor Brown, all of Bethlehem; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frankie and Betty Kennedy, Billy and Hilda Kennedy, Gary and Jane Kennedy, all of Hoschton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammy Everett and Mr. Gary Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Chapman officiating. The Family will receive friends Monday, December 10, from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
