Jimmie Ann Horton (1-4-13)

BRASELTON - Jimmie Ann Hardy Horton, 77, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013.

She was born in Monroe, the daughter of the late James Hubert and Curtis Mae Braswell Hardy. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Horton was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Horton; and a brother, Mack Hardy.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Debora Shelton, Braselton; sisters, Rebecca Hardy and Joyce Peters, both of Monroe; brother, Larry Hardy, Loganville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday January 7, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Benji Boone officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Monroe with Scott Smith, Scott Gee, Asa Albright, Michael Sims, Todd Peters and Michael Childers honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 6, at Evans Funeral Home from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m.
