During the past week, the Braselton Police Department reports the arrests of four people. Those arrested and their charges include:
•Charles William Smith Jr., failure to maintain lane, open container of alcohol while operating a vehicle and DUI (second offense).
•Adrian Martin, improper stopping on roadway, new resident shall obtain GA license within 30 days and DUI (first offense).
•Frank Wilfrid Britt, disorderly conduct.
•James Robert Bettress, failure to maintain lane, open container and driving under the influence (second offense).
During the same period, the following incidents were also reported:
•information report on Grand Hickory Drive, where a woman made a complaint to the police department about a group of kids bullying her grandchildren in the neighborhood. The woman reported that her grandkids were shot at with an airsoft gun and she wanted it reported to investigations.
•damage to property at Pilot Travel Center on Highway 53, where a man reported that another vehicle clipped the right side mirror of his vehicle.
•suicide or attempt on Sahale Falls, where a 32-year-old female had reportedly taken sleeping pills and a 10-month-old was also inside the house. The woman said she had taken two packages of over the counter sleeping pills and had a drinking problem. She was turned over the Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services on scene. She was reportedly suffering from post-partum depression.
•theft by taking on Madrid Falls, where $1,000 worth of clothing items was reported missing.
•information report on Highway 211, where a Subway manager called 911 to report possible harassment to one of her employees, although the suspect was an ex-boyfriend of the employee who had arranged to meet her there. They both filled out statement forms regarding the incident.
•domestic violence on Liberty Park Drive, where a man called to report that his wife had hit him in the eye during an altercation. No charges were filed against the man’s wife.
•disorderly under the influence at Bottom of the Cup on Spouts Springs Road, where a manager reported that a male customer left the parking lot in a tan colored truck without paying his bill.
•theft by taking on Spout Springs Road, Braselton, where a man from Greenville, S.C., reported that a local suspect who works for the same company selling medical supplies had stolen more than $20,000 from his bank account over the past year.
•no proof of insurance on I-85 northbound where a female was cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession, no proof of insurance and suspended registration.
•death investigation on New Liberty Way, where officers where officers responded to a two-year-old child not breathing.
