Altie Rice (1-8-13)

DANIELSVILLE - Altie T. Rice, 100, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2013.

Mrs. Rice was the daughter of the late James and Vickie Wilkie. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roger Rice, Sr.; daughter, Louise Crowe; son, Carl Melton Rice; and a granddaughter, Ashton Strickland.

Survivors include daughters, Jean (Russell) Pulliam and Pam (Scott) Strickland; son, Roger James Rice; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, at 2 p.m., at Lord & Stephens, Danielsville Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Community Baptist Church cemetery.
