Edna Johnson (1-25-13)

STATHAM – Edna L. Johnson, 77, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013.

She was a member of the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her family, her church and church family, and was happiest when baking and doing for others. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, John J. and Sally Wigley Collins; husband, Marion L. Johnson; sisters, Estelle Baxter, Beulah Anderson and Jeanette Johnson; and a brother, James Collins.

Survivors include a son, Steve Johnson, West Palm Beach, Fla.; daughter, Marie (Ted) Cannon, Statham; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, George Collins; and sister, Mandy Baker.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 27, at the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with the Rev. Tommy Baker and Bro. Steve Roberts officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
